Simmer Pot Cooking Process

Simmer Pot Cooking Process

  1. Prepare the Ingredients

Select and clean the main ingredients such as meat (chicken, beef, bullfrog), seafood (shrimp, scallops, oysters), vegetables (potatoes, mushrooms, lotus root), and tofu products. Arrange them on a plate in standard portions.

  2. Sauté the Base Sauce

Heat the pot with oil. Add chopped green onions, ginger, and garlic, then stir-fry with our signature sauce blend. Add a combination of three core sauces — typically soy-based, sweet, and mildly spicy — to create our famous "three-sauce" base.

  3. Layer the Ingredients

Place potatoes and other firm vegetables at the bottom of the pot. Then layer the meats, seafood, and remaining vegetables on top. Pour the stir-fried sauce evenly over everything.

  4. Simmer to Infuse Flavor

Cover the pot and simmer over medium-low heat for 8–12 minutes. The ingredients slowly absorb the flavors. Stir gently once midway to prevent sticking.

  5. Serve and Enjoy

Once the pot is ready, uncover and serve directly at the table — the aroma is irresistible! Best enjoyed with steamed rice and dipping sauce. The remaining broth can be turned into a hot pot base for continued enjoyment.
